We’re currently in the process of undertaking the technical design, costing and project planning for an EnerPHit conversion of a beautiful, listed barn near Bath.

EnerPit is the Passivhaus retrofit standard, which takes the limitations and challenges old building stock can bring in terms orientation, structure, shape, amount of glazing and so on. Despite relaxing some criteria, it’s still a demanding standard and typically results in a building which outperforms a new-build in terms of both energy and comfort.

We’re also working to find a solution to the combined challenge of bats, conservation principles and energy efficiency. It’s exactly the kind of exciting project we relish and will be a beautiful home for our clients.
